I wonder how much the "i" cost the Beeb? Well the "BBC" cost about £5 million (I think) so the "i" must have cost about £1.6 million???<br><br>Surely they could have thought of something better than that? BBCi – great ey?<br><br>The new BBC Homepage, sorry, Digital Destination, is pretty poor in my opinion. Too much grey, needs more colour, and proper navigation.<br><br>That bloody grey bar on the top of every page is getting on my thrupny bits now too...<br><br>Wonder what they'll do with the other 500,000 pages on there?!<br><br>M

"Navigation Bar<br>You'll find a new navigation bar at the very top of every page. It highlights the most popular areas of our site"<br><br>It'll have a "close window" link on it soon then  ;D<br><br>I recon the BBC web team have had some new people in over the last few months. I've seen a definite increase in broken images, spelling mistakes, etc.<br><br>M

The BBC has just had a hugh IT revamp, its to fit in with a new system its had installed called 'RADIOMAN'. It computerises everything (like Jingles and Music) and saves having thousands of CD's and MiniDisc's.  I know for a fact that BBC local radio and all the newsrooms are very dependent on it, but I'm not sure about national radio shows. Altogether its cost the BBC around £3million!  Technology eh, ain't it marvellous?
