a few months back someone was moaning about how people were writing...

oh for god's sake. i can't believe there are so many people banging on about this. why can't you just let people write the way they want? you know what they mean, after all. language is about making yourself understood. syntax and grammar are meant to help, we're not meant to be slaves to them.

obviously, if you're trying to sell yourself on your cv, you'd use perfect english, but here, we're just talking conversationally...

Yeah, me too. I can understand why it's used on phones where you're restricted to the number of characters you can use, and also the fact that it's so bloody akward writing words on a phone because each number has three letters assigned to it, but surely when we're using a proper computer keyborad, it's a bit easier to write properly?

I usually try to avoid texting using my mobile because I can send text messages via the web for free, but I always try to use plain english in my messages and it's a lot easier to structure messages when you have access to a proper keyboard.

You see the comedy edge I was going for (which wasnt very well thought out) was that oh never mind... here it is again writen correctly with additonal information to explain why in certain terms I said what I said.

your creative skills appear to be above average but as for your insulting skills they need a few years of work. I suggest you go on a campaign and go practice then come back in a few years then we will evaluate your progress.
