gaia means a few things "mother earth" is one meaning. there is a gaia theory by prof lovelock about survival and evolution. (deep shit) and the one we like is from greek mythology were gaia is the goddess of the earth, if you like the female God of the greek empire, the gal who started all this lot off, like an "eve" of that time. help ya. search it theres plenty on it.
