I just don't think someone from the show would come on here under their real name and reveal themselves.
For example he asked what we thought of the Fame Academy; now that most people on the board think it's the real Aled they are going to be less likely to criticize the show so as not to offend Aled. So if he really wanted to know what we thought, he would surely have not revealed himself.
Just put yourself in his position. If there was a message board that had comments about a show that you were involved in and ultimately about you, you would surely go on incognito - to hear what people are really saying.
Supposing this is the real Aled.. I would not be rude about him or his show as an act of politeness.
So if everybody believes this is the real Aled, all he's going to get is phoney replies about how much people like him, whereas they would normally s l a g him off if they didn't think he was on the board.
The whole thing doesn't make sense to me.
I'm not going to change my opinions about a particular show when I know someone involved with that show is listening in. If Aled felt the need to "reveal" his true identity, then good on him, he'll gain just as much valuable feedback as if he remained incognito. Don't forget, he was a visitor of this web site long before he started working on the show.
If anything, I feel bad talking about him in the third person. - jc
