What you mean you cant believe. S Club Juniors are perfect for 8-12 year olds and so they buy that. What would you prefer. Kiddies singing S Club songs or them wearing Foo Fighters T-Shirts and singing to All My Life at 12.

i would rather have a 12 year old singing "all my life" as this is a REAL band who have made this record where as S club juniors are nothing but an idea but together by a load of paedophiles who have NO talent and have no future (yes wait till the lads voices break)
i would rather see children watch a band play instruments and sing LIVE instead of dancing and miming along to a pathetic track which has no relivance to them what so ever....

Personally I hate it when 10 year olds tag themselves to a rock band to make them look cooler. Like them ones from Slipknot. Come on its complete rubbish noise.

Yes but bob, you can really relate to slipknot, you can feel thier pain. Because all they wanted was a bike for christmas and there parents didnt get them one.

right bob.....when i started at my High school..there was NO rock bands or anything......now the kids are fighting to use the music room(which when i was in year 7 or 8 was for nerds who would get bullied) now these kids who have listened to Foos...slipknot..korn..they have formed their own groups and are palying everywhere in the local area......ok all they know is mainstream rock and "Nu-metal" but...there playing instruments and making their own music....and its not only lads.....

Bob and DrLoz are right - all of a sudden there's become this cult following which started with the likes of Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park where 10 - 14 year olds will religiously listen to their stuff, try and cover their songs and wear the same style of clothing. It's got to the point where bands with this following have almost become 'pop' just beacause of their fan-base.

These bands that are being getting to the top that obviously do not deserve it are our own fault. Our generation have technology and we download the songs so we don't have to put our hands in our pockets. The kiddies have mummy and daddy buy them the singles creating chart positions. The Foos, Stereophonics, Corals, etc have no chance because their targeted listening audience all downloaded their tunes before they released them.

I don't agree, I see what your saying, but I think it's more down to people buying the albums. Kids don't buy albums because they're too expensive, yet our generation buy the album instead of buying all the singles. If you look at the album charts, the top 10 has a lot more quality than the top 10 singles chart.

Spot on Sidla, although I still think the charts are fixed, so it doesn't make much difference who buys what.

Good point. I half concede. Has anyone checked the album charts to see if "our" bands and artists are up there, or are they overrun by S Club jrs, etc?

The charts are fixed, but what I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't actually care about it too much.
