I might have done this before many moons ago but as you know pop bands come and go quicker than David Seaman and a dropped cross but do you know whatever to these

1. Jamelia - One of the rising stars it seemed of UK RnB with her duet with Beenie Man Money

2. Allstars - The new S Club 7 albeit with 2 less members and less desirable looking females, this band achieved minor hits in 2001 with Bucks Fizz covers. They were dropped but are they still about?

3. Kavana - Yes the much heralded Special friend to members of the team when they are joking, he had some minor success but last I remember was way back in 1998. Nothing since.

4. Vengaboys - Frankly I could do without someone telling me they are still going cos I hope they arent. Funny that Radio 1 played Up & Down to death then realised very quickly that all was not rosy as Eurocheese entered the arena with Were Goin To Ibiza, yes that song effectively killed off the very note of Ibiza being cool.

5. Fierce & Cleopatra - The failed Misteeq's some might say. Both were trios, both were slightly more chubby than your average band, both tried to bring r n b to the masses, but failed. Remember when Cleopatra first came on the scene and they presented an award at the Brits and suddenly cheesily burst into harmonious (well nearly) impromptu singing. Oh just me then.

7. Honeyz - Well one of them was a Honey, the other 2 looked a bit ropey. They had the incredible interchangable member (no not talking about John Wayne Bobbit) who left to live with Corrie star at the time Matthew Marsden and then came back when the relationship didnt work out. Nice of them to do that, wasnt it, and to cast the replacement like a crisp thats fallen on a toilet floor.

I think Jamelia got pregnant, so she obviously is concentrating on her little kiddiewinkle. I quite liked her music.

Vengaboys are no more. My brother used to be a big fan for some reason. I thought they were shit.

My brother also met the honeyz when they played at Reading student union. He got their autographs and they described him as 'sweet'. God knows why. I dunno if they're still going though.
