At least they will be available to you at some point. Stupid bbc won't let anyone outside the UK see any of them at all!

If anyone knows how to get around that... I wouldn't complain.

But what is the policy, and is it consistently applied?

An overseas resident can legitimately listen to BBC Radio 1 (or just about any other BBC radio station) without paying a license fee, and view all Radio 1 text and image online content. BBC television is also freely available to overseas viewers via FTA satellite or cable.

On top of that, the video content for last year's Big Weekend was not blocked for overseas viewers. That only started this year. I wonder if it is because it is delivered via the iPlayer, which wasn't the case last year.
