I was listening to Chris Moyles during the week and heard song suggestions for the first song at Daves wedding, which i found brilliantly funny. Then on Friday night I went to an evening wedding reception and heard the DJ play requests, without any hint of sarcasm, or wit, or understanding of the songs, including Heaven Knows I'm Miserable by the Smiths, Everyday I Love You Less and Less by Kaiser Chiefs, Stuck In The Middle With You by Steelers Wheel, I Want To Break Free by Queen, Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley, and Gold Digger by Kanye West. I could not believe it, the DJ did not even guess that he was having the piss taken out of him and what is even worse nobody in the wedding party seemed to be aware of the songs being played they just danced. It must have been the funniest and most unbelieveable wedding I have been to.

Has anyone else witnessed similar?
