Ha. Thanks, guys. I'm still freaked out a bit, to be honest. I can't believe my luck! They were just the kindest people. I met all of them but Carrie and Rachel. Everybody signed both my books -- even baby Nicole (who is absolutely gorgeous and the sweetest baby -- she kept sharing her toys with me!). Sophie took all of the pics. I am still half-asleep and was so tired last night I ended up going to bed during the Dave Grohl interview!

Andy, honestly, I think I did it in 3 shots but it wasn't my fault! Chris was grinning and I ended up having him turn away from me because he kept making me laugh and freak out more. I haven't even heard it. I have a dreadful voice so I'm not really looking forward to that!

Yes, I'm so sad! My family and friends kept calling, "You're going WHERE? You're never going to see them and if you do, they'll think you're a nutjob!" It helps that I introduced myself that way!! I think the best reaction of the day was Dave's. When I pulled the 2 books from my handbag and asked him to sign, he looked completely shocked! After all, I was sitting there with a beer, a newspaper and had the key card that allowed me out to the pool. What are the odds??? He wasn't as shocked as my husband, though. He called and Chris is all, "Who's that?" and I said, "My husband" and Chris said, "Let me answer it. What's his name?" And so he talked to him briefly, and even introduced himself and then handed me back the phone and said, "He's not very talkative." My hubby didn't find it as amusing as I did. Someone was a wee bit jealous! I really don't think he thought I'd see them, let alone have Chris answer my phone! Priceless!

S4 and Toph and Balls had all urged me to go and then Toph and S4 were texting me as I was driving up. Chris and Aled thought that was very funny and S4 even texted while I was talking to them and she rang me later as I sat in the bar. It was a mental day!!! Just absolutely brilliant

I haven't heard it yet! I fell asleep! I'm just listening to the rest of the show now. I'm assuming it was because S4 texted me at like 2 AM my time and said I did wonderfully and she knows my voice. Plus, Andy said above they said something about me doing the drop. I couldn't have made a bigger arse of myself if I tried!

Thank you and you never asked for my mobile number (though remind me, I need to speak to you about a guitar for my boy!). Funny thing is, I also have a UK mobile number but that phone is never switched on. I keep telling S4 she ought to call on that as it's a local call for her.

I saw Andy's comment above about how he called me "sweet" but I didn't hear it in the links that Console had caught and so here I was drinking my tea this morning, thinking I'd heard the whole thing about me and was listening at the end of the show and he said something else. I'm such a twit I nearly spilt tea down myself. I'm such a sad, sad individual.

And now I'm off to NYC tomorrow. I am petrified of flying and I'm already a basket of nerves. Thank God for beer!!!

Oh Honey I am still so pleased for you. I have NEVER heard anyone so excited in my life as you were that night. I couldn't sleep until I knew you were talking to them and then I couldn't sleep cos I knew you'd need someone to share it with! Hang the expense, a a5 call to the USA on my mobile at 3am isn't gonna cost me that much......................is it?
