ZED DOESN'T * RHYME!!!!!
Gee rhymes with Pee rhymes with Vee rhymes with Zee rhymes with Cee rhymes with Me. Change it to Zed and the whole song loses cohesion.
Besides, it's a letter. Who cares how you pronounce it? The only time you ever need to pronounce it is when you're spelling something to someone, and they'll know what you mean. They probably watched Sesame St when they were wee too.
You know how much I actually notice the difference? It had to be pointed out to me that Rodney in Stargate Atlantis was the only one to call it a Zed Pee Emm and not a Zee Pee Emm. Until that was pointed out it didn't even register in my brain that there WAS a difference in what they were saying.
And relax.
Anyway, thank you Chris and Team, I now know the next few lines of that song. It gets stuck in my head every so often and it's always annoyed me that I only know the first two lines.
