I ring the speaking clock when I'm synchronising the system time with the phone time at work as it goes out of sync and the 'clock watching morons' (as my boss once put it) tend to moan about it.

Moyles was calling the speaking clock every few seconds around about 9.08 this morning. Apparently tomorrow it's Gary Barlow and the other Kilimanjaro climbers are on on other days. All proceeds are going to Comic Relief (although I am uncertain whether this is the complete cost of the call).
