Just been watching an old Spooks episode on that "Watch" channel and the continuity announcer sounded just like Dom. Is he moonlighting on the side?

Yup, that's Dom. Heard him introduce Richard & Judy t'other day.

It'd be great to get into voiceover work. As Stephen Merchant says, it's money for old rope.

I didn't think the BBC would let him moonlight. Didn't they refuse to let him do Gladiators? Or are Watch related to the BBC in some way?

I heard him on there a few weeks ago, Greg James does it too.

Watch is part of the UKTV network which I think has some kind of link to the BBC cos all they're channels show a lot of BBC stuff.

Aha, just looked it up. Apparently UKTV is joint owned by BBC Worldwide (50%) and Virgin Media (50%).

Greg James is probably a contractor like Moyles and Dave which means he can do what he likes. Same way Scott Mills does V/O work for TMF and The Box.

I thought it was BBC Worldwide and Living TV, but maybe they're owned by Virgin.

Which brings me to my next question - what's Chappers? He moonlights, he sometimes presents shows with Dave, but didn't he start out (and still is) a sports newsreader?

My first knowledge of Chappers was as sports reader on Sara Cox's breakfast show and I think he joined in as part of the team like he does now.
