The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

One of th e biggest mysteries on radio one is ,why have Chappers and Dave never been given their own permanent slot? They are by far and away one of the most entertaining shows on the station when theyr e on together and yet they only ever get to stand in for other DJs.This weekend is their last show as Coxy starts her sunday show next weekend.(bit of a mystery why shes been put on that slot anyway)..Surely either Nick Grimshaw or Nihal could give way to let them get their own show.

I always enjoy listening to them when they are on at the weekend. I like that the music they play is a little less constrained by the playlist nazis, and Dave can express some of his more eclectic musical tastes. And they are funny too.

I'd prefer them to stay as occasional presenters. I think it would better. They are both hilarious when it comes to presenting, but i think too much would take the shine off things.

Plus they both do the 5 week days, plus gigs on weekends.

Totally agree. I think the some of the 'magic' about there show is that its every-so-often and therefore some of the stuff they do hasent got tired, etc.

Umm, I agree they are funny, but technically they are absolutely rubbish. What they do standing in, means that this can be excused. The Sunday morning slot they have been in does suit them very well. Personally I would really like to hear Dom in the mix with them as well, I reckon that would be very very funny. It depends on your views as to how professional Presenters need to be, Zane, Chris, Jo, Gregg, Scott Edith and to an extent Sara are all good technically, at the top of their profession, Chappers and Dave would struggle to get a full time gig on Chiltern FM.

I do really like the show though, so that kind of wees on my own fire a bit doesn't it.
