I watched it last nite and I agree that it wasn't an accurate impersonation and wasn't especially funny, I have no idea why MacIntyre would be annoyed about it, it wasn't cruel. I suspect it was chopped for timing reasons, altho that said, from what I saw of the BAFTAs most of the scripted "jokes" were unfunny.

No really a funny gag, but not really offensive. Michael McIntyre wasn't wearing the painted on smile of a man who is offended but trying to cover it up. Must've been cut for time purposes as far as I'm concerned
