Not sure how many of you noticed but at 1:58.37 Chris says Shits instead of shirts.

Now I dont care in the slightest, however I wonder how many people heard this and complained?

No he doesn't, I've just had a listen - there's a complete difference between miss-pronouncing a word so it can sound slightly dubious if you happen to be looking for it, and having a complete slip of the tongue and calling a caller a '* slag'.

Well I re listened about 5 times just to make sure and it sounded like it everytime. I did say he said it instead and obviously was a slip up.

Heh thats another reason why I like listening to Radio 6Music. Guests swear sometimes and the presenters dont apologise. An Aussie singer said 'dickhead' yesterday, and a member of Duran Duran said 'bollocks' today. No apology, no newspaper scandal, nothing!

I suppose thats what happens when 6Music is a digital-only channel with a listener number ranging in the thousands, Radio 1 is FM and has 'millions' of listeners.

To be fair, wrdmatt has a point. Not the best way of putting it across, but given that the site is mentioned from time to time on the show I know what he means.

I know where you're coming from, as a regular listener to Jon Holmes on 6Music I do wonder how he gets away with stuff sometimes yet Chris get lambasted for much lesser comments. It's all just to do with audience numbers & as great a station 6Music is, it's never going to have an audience following like Radio 1.
