What age are you? Because if you're over 29 then they'll be only too glad to get rid of you, that's their main goal at the moment!

If? It's a done deal.

It really is an end of an era. I've been listening to the show through school and now when I'm at work. It really is a strange feeling. That being said I think I'll stop listening to Radio 1 when the CMS ends.

I normally get into work for 8am. I listen to Chris on the way in. If I have extra work to do and I need to get in early, instead of feeling grumpy, I look forward to getting in before 6:30 so I hear the cheesy song an the first 30 mins of nothing but chat.

Now I actually look forward to an early start. That's the power of Chris. When he's gone there will be no incentive to get out of bed early.

I suppose listening to the show live got me into a better routine. I used to get up for work at the last minute and run out the door.

Back when the show was really good I would set my alarm for 6.15 and be at my desk for 6.30. I loved being up for a few extra hours when it was dark outside. I would catch up on any work needing done or more often than not have a flight on VATSIM while listening, with a huge pot of tea.

Early to bed and early to rise and all that. I don't think I have ever got into music or any tv shows on Chris's recommendation. But I have had countless hours of enjoyment from the show.

I hope I am wrong but I don't foresee any other radio shows compelling me to get up early for.
