Pet peeve of mine but I have no idea where Aled is getting his facts from but there have been several mistakes today! Maria Callas was played before Buzz-Off, Rob DJ pub quiz started towards the end of 2004 and not at the start and the podcast started in July 2005 and not 15th August! I am being a bit Asinine it about I know.

Firstly, chill. :)

Secondly, I asked to hear three Buzz Off's with the latest one being in May 2004, we didn't play Maria Callas in any of the three - so it's possible it began or finished before or after the three I heard - most of the features change over their run on air e.g Carpark catchphrase's use of Roy's chat so it's a difficult to know which version to use

A lot of discussion about the podcasts - July 2005 were technically pilots so we chose to go from the official launch date of August 15th

We're both wrong re Rob DJ - I said very beginning on air, I meant in context of the 9 years - the first mention i found of it was the 3rd of March 2004

The users of this forum have been the shows fiercest defenders, while at the same time being its harshest critics for the past 10 years. I don't see any reason why things should change in the last two weeks.

If he wants to moan let him get on with it. It prompted an interesting reply from Aled, so who cares if it was a moan?

EDIT: Just seen Chris'post. Agree 100%.

That's the hard thing about being sarcastic/etc on a computer screen, It's difficult to make it translate.

First of all, thank you Aled for your reply. I didn't want to come off as a bit of a dick and I tend to do this with a podcast I listen to where they get dates and certain things wrong but believe me, I am not perfect since I will get dates and facts wrong myself at times. I listened to all of the 2004 shows not too long ago hence why I was a bit confused when it was stated that no song was played before Buzz-Off on today's show when Maria Callas' O Mio Babbino Caro was played for most of the year leading up to the feature's conclusion in December!

I assume you meant the first time Rob DJ was mentioned on the air, which was probably that date but I meant the feature starting out on the show and I think it was towards the end of 2004. The podcast one I can understand so that's alright.

And Deadly, I'll moan if I bloody want to moan! :P If you know me on here, I'll moan about anything! McFly Day, long-running CPC contestants, incorrect dates etc. I enjoyed the show today and was nice to hear Ramble back as well.

Today's show is great. I've still got an hour to listen to, but there's a real end-of-school vibe. I appreciate all the work that goes in to digging up the old clips.

If I had listened to shows from 2004 recently, I'm OCD enough to complain, but I haven't, so I'm just enjoying it. [s]Trys Like *[/s] Thighs Like Trucks was hilarious!

I hope this vibe continues for the next 13.

I'm not sure if Chris was joking, but if I don't get tickets for Thursday, I'd be up for a parade on Friday!

I defended you last week to give you a chance to contribute to the board, I didn't think people were giving you a fair chance to post your opinions. I didn't do it so that you could take digs at people you think 'wronged' you, and I don't want to keep being reminded of the whole stupid episode with 'please feel sorry for me' posts.

By all means post interesting things, please do reply to others and join in with threads ... but keep dragging up the past and I'm afraid I'm going to get very short of patience very quickly.
