your best bet is to try getting your foot in the door at hospital radio. You'll have to pay your dues first (the cerimonial of making tea, etc). This is a good way of learning the structure and inner workings of producing a radio show. If you have a talent for presenting then you'll break will eventually happen but patience and commitment are paramount.
