The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Ha, I love that one too. Did anyone notice Dave making another gaff today, about cat owners? I think he called them weird and eccentric.
And a very recently discovered Dave related thing that fascinates me is his addition skills. It now turns out that part of the reason he's so rubbish at maths is that he doesn't use columns when adding up several numbers. The mind boggles, but I do love Dave!

Dave is great, I have a real life habit of accidentally giving out secrets!

I'm sure Dave's said that about Cat owners before - I think a couple of months back ? (or did I dream it?)

I used the Genesis of the Nana Windows idea as the soundtrack to this video of stills from the Webcast Weeks way back in July 2009. You may enjoy it!:

With respect, you're wrong.

I hated Nana Windows too, really hated it! For me it was overly repetitive irritating nonsense.

Also loved when Dave was in his hole in the wall outfit. Also Carrie at Wimbledon and phoning Jake Humpries up over and over again.

Also When Carrie was being tickled and when they did truth or gunge so funny esp Aled (Sorry Aled) and Dom.

StarryEyed wrote:My favourite part is Dave dropping his chips. I can't remember the exact show but it's on Carrie's final podcast. A listener sees Dave dropping his chips at a train station and texts in, they rip Dave about it and the person then sends a photo of Dave crouched on the floor picking them up. I don't know why it makes me laugh so much, but it's always tickled me and I will laugh at it no matter how many times I hear it.

The Dave dropping his chips story is from the 9th February 2010 show! Don't think it is in the sound vault! http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006wkqb/episodes/2010

Dave drops his chips is now in the sound vault:

Another part I loved from last year was when they did the phone compeition to hang out with them in Leeds and go to the Reading & Leeds Festival I believe and they went through numerous calls trying to get someone to say the quote but either they didn't answer or said the wrong thing. It was just funny with them losing their minds over it.

It is from the 23rd August 2011 show just in case it isn't in the sound vault and someone wants it.

One of my best bits has to be the opening link from Chris' 2008 birthday show. What was Aled thinking giving Dave control of the jingle machine? Given his track record with Radio 1 technology and that infamous Simon Mayo incident, it was always destined to be a disaster.

The time there was a competition to watch the Snooker in Sheffield at the weekend and Chris made Aled read it out in the style of Tim Westwood. Aled hasn't done that since but it was utterly hilarious, cos Chris was laughing like a loon at it.

I think it's in Console's clips.

Here it is:

It is there, and the problem was the winner turned out not to be eligible:

If that was supposed to have a question mark at the end, then yes, I thought the same thing about The Barack Obama Song as I did about Nana Windows. More in keeping with the title of this thread, I have several favourite moments from both of the team's trips to Germany and Portugal. Many of them involve stories about Aled, like when he locked the keys in the car, spent time building a robot, and of course the infamous incident that has never been fully revealed on air. I also remember them playing 'his boyfriend's' Truck Driver song, which I used to love, during one of those trips, although I think it had been played previous to that time.

I'm not sure when they started playing Weird Al. Man, there must be so much stuff I've forgotten...
