I would say Stephen Hawking has to be there but I'm pushed to think of any others.

I would say Stephen Hawking has to be there but I'm pushed to think of any others.

Unfortunatley in today's world the real geniuses remain unknown - most remaining the silent driving force behind universities or inventions. I think it's a shame that today's media hold looks and notoriety in a higher regard than genuine genius. I dare assume that Steven Hawking is so well known because of the fact that he fights disability to produce amazing work - but I think other great thinkers don't get the attention they deserve.
