Nope.

Actually I would watch it if he was on. It would be Rebecca Loos tv for me.

Yeah, I think it's definitely a load of old pig wank.

Did you ever see yourself finding an occasion to type that sentence, Munki?

He seems pretty adamant that he's not doing it.

By the way, I heard (from unsubstantiated sources) that Arlene has been axed from this series, to be replaced by Alesha Dixon?? Is this so? I can handle the axing of Arlene, and I think Alesha would do a great job, but I can't help thinking that Camilla Dallerup (last years winning pro who then said she wouldn't be doing it any more) would be a better choice as replacement. Especially as just after she left she said how much she'd love to be a judge on the show.......

Maybe she's being replaced by Chris?! 8O

As long as they get rid of Arlene I don't mind - years of experience, but can't string a sentence together. That's fine in some situations, but not on live TV.

I do agree, I find her tortured attempts at giving a critique painful to listen to. And its a bit creepy watching her leering over the pretty boys. Apparently she is older than Len Goodman, which makes it even creepier.

I've heard the same Yuds, but am sure I've heard Aleesha interviewed saying she knows nothing about it.

Given the amount he's denied it, I'll be disappointed now if Chris does take part. It will smack of them stringing this out to fill air time ala a Scott Mills feature.

He sounds pretty decided on the matter, and I hope he isn't just being cliffhangery. Or whatever the correct word in those circumstances is. Prevaricatory? Cliffhangery.

Nah, its not procrastination - that implies leaving something til later through laziness. I need a word that implies deliberate building of tension through deception or delay on a decision. I still think "cliffhangery".

Chris should offer Aled as a replacement. Aled would love it, and he'd be good too.

The rumours were true - Arlene Phillips has been taken off Strictly Come Dancing, to be replaced by Alesha Dixon. Phillips will join The One Show. Darcy Bussell will also join SCD as a guest judge towards the end of the run. No word on CM.
