after banging on about a specific reality TV show for a month or longer, you'd expect the winner of it to be booked on the show, if not at least a pre recorded interview.

Yeah, he was on about 7.15, seems like a nice lad.

Terrible song though.

Yeah, I woke up to that interview this morning and the first thing I heard was Chris telling Joe not to take the 'Rage' campaign personally and that the same thing would have happened if it had been Olly or Stacey. I thought that was a nice thing for him to do.

I also liked how he told Joe he hoped he would get out of the machine and make his own way soon enough. I doubt that will happen, but still, it was pretty good to here Joe agreeing with it.

He was on this morning. Very entertaining too, as he is usually on live radio. I don't personally like his 'bit of blue for the dads' torrent of bad taste material on his tour but within the confines of family listening he must be confounding his critics.

It was, at first I thought it was a bit weird, as the kid would surely know the score, but then I thought a bit more and you're right it's a genuinely decent thoughtful bit of advice for someone who's been in the business for about two minutes.

I think he might need it to, because they haven't helped him out by giving him a song that's anything but instantly forgettable.

Must admit that surprised me, I'd assumed X-Factor's people would have been there coaching heavily and trying to stop anything vaguely critical of them.
