Getting back on topic (for once ) I think the opening link is the best one of the day. The same was true with the Afternoon Show where the 4:10/3:10pm (depending on the year) link went on for about 8-10 minutes & was a general recap of the last 24 hours, this would then usually continue on into all following links up-to & including the first Newsbeat bulletin.

Oh & Drifter, you can keep your Twix, Kit Kat & Boost

I did consider that, and I do think your argument has merit, however, I felt that the term "sweets" covered more than just yer sorta gummy based confectionery.

I don't think I've ever tried toffos. Obviously I've just eaten the whole pack, but I've never tasted them.
