Equality for all, anyone is capable of doing anything as well, or as badly as anyone else!*

*statement is utter bollocks, partial acknowledgement of some stereotypes help people function in society rather than hindering it

I don't believe that. In fact I know it to be untrue. Sad, but it is so. The important thing is that each individual should ideally have the opportunity to do as much as they are capable of.

I laughed at how funny Chris was being with both Carol's. I was getting pissed at the audience booing Chris, they obviously believe the headlines about him. Great stuff Chris. Hoping that someone uploads the show to the archive valut or puts it on the YouTube page.

He just gets better and better at this telly lark.

Drunk loose women on telly late at night is a good idea.

I thought he came across very well and looked very well too, it was certainly one of best tv interviews I've seen with him. I liked the way he wasn't at all concerned about plugging his new show (unlike most daytime tv guests I would imagine) and how relaxed and 'bantery' he was with the panel. I don't get why you would say he was hilarious, or even particularly funny, but then why should he be? He's not a comedy turn, I wasn't expecting him to have them rolling in the aisles. By the sounds of the studio audience reaction every time they mentioned him being too old for R1, I would say Chris was right in thinking that the Loose Women audience isn't exactly his kind of crowd!

On a side note, there's not much need for Chris to do promotion for 'The Love Machine' now that Stacey has done such a good job of getting her face in the papers this week. She was blubbing down the phone to the Loose Women herself yesterday apparently, and I see she was at it again on 'This Morning' today. Of course the downside of all the free publicity was being stripped of the very prestigious 'Celebrity Mum of the Year' award, but thems the breaks I suppose.

Isn't Loose Women our version of that US show called The View?

You know, this show!

Correct, however apparently that version is better than ours, didn't ours used to be presented by a Scottish woman, Foots may be able to answer that one :p

Loose Women has had about 40 presenters over the years - can you narrow it down at all, johnny...? :)

And yeah, The View is the one with Whoopi Goldberg, innit? There's another very similar one called The Talk with Sara Gilbert. I shouldn't imagine the topics of conversation are quite the same as ours, though...

I tried to find that exact clip earlier today. I didn't know it was called 'The View' though, probably why I couldn't find it.

Chris was talking about Loose Women in the opening link - sounded like he had a lot of fun with them. All the clips were unintelligible though - they all seem to talk at once and they shout and screech, so you can't actually hear what they hell they are saying. The only voice I could make out actually using words was Chris's.

Skipped to the Chris' part and yeah he was pretty good. Fitted right in and had good banter. I think the Loose Women were off the mark asking if he will go to Radio 2. Personally, I think he'll put more focus in to his TV work after Radio 1. Be it when his current contract expires or the next.

I h ave to say I'm not a fan of carol McGiffen after watching her on LW.her views on fat people are abominable and she was unnneccessarily rude to Chris. Chris was quite funny though, despite his shoddy treatment.I won't be watching Loose Women again though

probably because he's associated with The Lord of Webber now I suppose..
one of his best TV appearances by far.

He was brilliant on loose women. One of the best interviews.

I hope someone recorded it as my stupid sky box played up and missed first 5 minutes of the show.

He was good today. He was quite revealing about the future too. His line about the whole team being "booted out" is quite telling. The future lies away from radio 1 I reckon.
