Were you one of the lucky ones then that went to the live show?
I was wondering if anyone noticed some awkward body language if they were there.
I know we all have the benefit of hindsight & all that, but did anything strike anyone at the time?

No I didn't go to the live show, I think you had to be 18 to go anyway so I probably wouldn't have been able to, but I watched it on TV, that was enough for me to notice some awkwardness between them.

I didn't notice any awkward body langauge at all. But then I was so excited to be there that maybe I just wouldn't have picked up on it if there was any.

I noticed during the last show one the red button coverage (when you could see the studio during the songs playing), not once during 3.5 hours did Dave speak to Chris or visa versa. I actually found it very strange, mainly on Dave's part. At least Chris spoke to the other team members a lot, whereas Dave just stared at his phone during every song. I think he spoke to Dom twice, briefly, but other then that didnt speak at all.

hes had lots of successful ventures in the past, coach trip, his own radio shows, five live and he can always do Dancing on Ice. Personally I dont think we should be looking at dave as some kind of lesser person, if i found out my best mate had been seeing my ex, id be pretty pissed off too. I think as it is, with all celeb stories, its been blown out of proportion

I don't agree that Dave won't have a career without Chris, but I do think the likelihood is that he wouldn't have had the career he has had, or the career options he NOW has, without Chris. I wonder if he would agree with that though.

Obviously not. Dave wouldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for Chris, they made a brilliant pair on the radio, I don't think Dave is that good by himself though as the show he did on 3 Counties Radio proved to me. He's better being funny with Chris, But that's just what I think.

Well if he starts off reading the news he'll hopefully work his way into a bigger role as he did when on the Moyles show.

Knowing what he was like on Chris' show they'll probably try and work him into the main show sooner than that - though having said that there's no telling if the chemistry will work with a new team... I've never listened to this show, I don't know who Dave Berry is other than Johnny Vaughn's replacement.
