There have been loads posted.

Here's what I used for 2012 shows:

Specifically for generic letter of the alphabet, fruit-based phones, I edit a black bar at the top, as that's where the player controls end up, so anything there gets obscured. Dunno what happens with the iPod app in iOS 6 though, as I don't use it.

Is it wrong that I've texted in a couple of times when listening to these old shows? I find it mildly amusing that I'll be listening to a 2004 show on the train at 4:30pm and Greg James will get at least one random "Buzz Off" text. Maybe if we all did it it'd be enough to get a mention somewhere :).

I think that's great! Getting enough texts for them to notice that people are talking about something not currently going on would definitely perplex whoever is on air, whether Moyles is mentioned or not.

Ha! I often go to text in about stuff, forgetting for a second that its not even live (i used to do this before it all ended, listening to a show a day or two late).

Actually doing it is a little more worrying, but as long as you're having fun! Dunno if GJ is smart enough to put two n two together. :D

It's weird listening to 2004 shows and forgetting they are in 2004.

Listening to Jules talk about Tim Henman and thinking "where's Andy Murray?" when he was still probably going to Dunblane High School at the time (yes, that Dunblane).

And Chris saying "...for example" and not making an Example, the singer reference.

Weird.

The rehearsal for Reverse the Word on today's replay show had me in stitches. Great piece of radio.

So I checked the CM features list in the vault section for the video of the Reverse-a-word pilot, but I'm coming up empty. I've also searched for the phrase Reverse-a-word, but the video's not coming up there either. Some help would be greatly appreciated. It exits, correct?

It wasn't a bad idea for a game show IMO. It couldn't have JUST had the contestants pairing up against each other as they did in the pilot for an entire shows worth of challenges. Assuming game shows over in the UK run 30 minutes the way they do here in the States, I think they'd have to have some kind of a lightning round for the team that came out on top or some other additional challenge for them.

And did Dave really have to dump the prize all over the floor at the end? The pilot went pretty smoothly up until that point.

The saga of Aled's Rat in Mi Kitchen (what am I gonna do?) and the 9-month old sprinters from the end of June 2004 is bloody hilarious!

Yeah that was really funny. Sounds like I'm round about the same shows as you.

I like the way that "Let's get ready to ramble" is very gradually building up into how we came to know it.

And I wish Carrie would hurry up and join the team!

:D Yes I've noticed the build up to lets get ready to ramble. I think I prefer Carrie to Jules so I'm looking forward to getting onto those shows!

If I remember correctly, Chris said that Jules was on the show for the first 9 months before she unexpectedly quit. He said that when she was brought back for a final visit toward the end of the show back in September. I've been struck by how little she was on air during this time. People used to complain that Tina was hardly around during the show, but she was on far more often than Jules was. There's been a couple of replays where the only time she was on air was during the newsbreak.

I am up to Carrie's first week on the show (apart from when she covered for Juliette in the summer) and Juliette was on the show continuously until her final appearance on 1st October.

Juliette got more involved in the final couple of months or so, but not as much as Carrie or Tina. That suited me though, as I always thought it was just too 'busy' with too many voices on the air. Also, Juliette never annoyed me, which cant be said for Carrie, and certainly not about Tina, who turned into pretty much a constant annoyance for me in the end.

I did like Carrie in the end, but at the moment, I would say Juliette was my favourite. When Juliette came back to say goodbye, Chris said she whispered to him that she should never have left. I wish she had stayed for longer too. It would have been interesting to see how different the show would have been with her instead of Carrie as the show evolved into a a far more speech based, rambling format than it was when Juliette was there.
