no trust me weekend breakfast is either used for new DJs to be tested before getting a betetr slot or its the graveyard slot for DJs who are on their way out ... Edith will ... either be axed or get fed up and quit within a year ...

Seriously, you're out of control: what are your sources for stating that they don't get on? Why must he be angry? Trust you? From what I can gather you are not an authority on Radio 1 scheduling nor are you on personal terms with any of the DJs. If you are offering an opinion, that's fine, but please don't word it as if you're stating facts unless you are willing to reference your sources.

I'm in two minds about this new schedule. It seems like a suspicious continuation of when they replaced Colin Murray with Nick Grimshaw. Younger presenters, more 'down with the yoof' to replace the older ones. I don't really like Fearne, but anyone is better than Whiley....although I would have preferred Coxy to get that slot. Greg James....I haven't really heard much of him, and what I did hear left me feeling a bit apathetic.

Shame they couldn't replace Mills either

As for Fearne what the hell, shes good at presenting on a kids show for 8 to 12 years old, but a 10am weekday slot on Radio 1, its taking the piss. Now I am no fan of Sara Cox as mentioned before I dont think too much of her, but as hard as it is for me to say this, I think the same as other people and agree she would have been a better choice, well only just.

But I must say Chris signing just a one year extension does'nt sound good to me, I mean 1 year is'nt very long usually its a 2 or 3 year deal, not 12 months does'nt sound good to me

I'm currently listening to Huw in for Grimmy in for Sara in for Jo. The comedy-Welsh accent is funny, but i rather like him. Can he have Scott's show?

I find it really hard to imagine Fearne being able to broadcast every day. She's been off her existing shows so many times, and they're only weekends. I can't see it lasting long to be honest, unless she really believes radio is her future.
