I like Zane Lowe, he is good at what he does. That said, I couldnt stand the show this morning. Whether it was because it was my first day back at work or not I dont know, but it was just far too hyper for me to take 07:15 in the morning. I gave it half an hour then turned off.

The same show in the evening works brilliantly, but not first thing in the morning. I liked Annie Mac's show today though.

I dont wanna start a new thread for this so I'll post it in here. What do radio 1 think they're doing putting a repeat of james corden's 2010 on at half 6?! Have they really got nothing else? I'm sure they could have even done something similar to the tinsel takeover

They have been repeating the 2010 best ofs from 6am to 7am all week. It is rather poor

But I must admit, Zane has proved me wrong. I didn;t like the bloke, maybe I havn't given him a chance as I very rarely listen to his shows.... A bit in your face and hyper for first thing in the morning, but the choice of music was fantastic... Was loving having a bit of drum & bass blaring at you at around 8:45 on Wednesday morning!

But I'm glad this INMWT takeover is done with. Back to the bread and butter of Normal radio....

I have enjoyed the takeover this week, I have listened more the past week then I have in since around 2003, Zane was a bit much in the morning and could only listen for a while before turning him off, that time of morning he is too much really, shame cause the music was great and better than the usual crap played. Plus the rest of the day was great with the takeover, better music played. I'm bit upset its the usual crap after 10am tomorrow espcially with that thing back on tomorrow at 10am

Yeah, that's wrong, for sure. They're back tomorrow; I've seen a few members of the 'team' tweet about them being back tomorrow. It's back to the regular schedule for the morning at least.

I enjoyed the takeover week quite a lot, waking up with Zano Lowe, and some decent tunes. Would much prefer Zano to fill in for Moyyysey rather than Scott 'gayboy' Mills in the future.
