Oh my god I've just seen his appearance and it really is genuinely embarrassing. It's an all time low for him.

There is a game on the show called Hairy Strikers. The game involves two members of the crew talking hosting the game talking like Ant and Dec but dressing as Andy Carroll and Fellaini from Everton. Two of the shows guest play the game and in this case it was ex Bolton manager Owen Coyle against Monty Panesar. They had to throw balls at French Sticks and the winner was the one who broke the most sticks. There is a different game every week on the show and the main punch line is the prize the winner receives. It's always a budget celebrity as the prize and past examples of the celebrity are the Go Compare man, Roland from Grange Hill, Jet from Gladiators and Chico from Chico Time.
Long story short Monty Panesar wins the game and he is told he's won his very own celebrity and who comes out?? A very sheepish looking Comedy Dave! The made him tell a joke and it went down like a fart in a lift then he just stood there looking awkward. He then went to "the Isle of Ronaldo" with Monty.

Jet from Gladiators to host a millennium barn dance at Yeovil aerodrome. Properly policed, it must not, REPEAT NOT turn into an all-night rave.

Are you sure Dave didn't actually invent that game?

Believe it or not that was one of the better games they have done on that show.

For those who couldn't read Dom's article, here's a precis:

"Grrr! Kids, eh! We wouldn't have had that Justin Blieder in my day! Grr!".

I don't know what that means.

Having just been on two planes, what IS up with speedy boarding?! Just means you sit on a stationary plane for longer.

I'd assume it's to do with budget airlines' policy of not having seat reservations - so if you pay extra as a large party or family, then you're more likely to be able to sit with each other.

Brace yourselves, I think we've just seen a glimpse into blog number 2:

But I was on easyJet and they DO have seat reservations now - you have to pay £3 or more to pick your seat or do what I did and be allocated your seat - so no benefit.

Also - what's the point of boarding passes? Anyone? I can't work it out - you fill out your passport number when you book your seat on the plane, so can surely just show your passport with the correct name and number to be allowed on? As long as airport security had a list of passport numbers and names to allow on, no problems.

Ah fair enough, I haven't flown EasyJet/Ryanair for a few months now.

I think it's easier to scan a boarding pass (as more information can be held in the QR/bar code) than a passport - meaning it makes the process a little quicker?

Also, I'm not sure passports across the globe/time periods are all the same in terms of their scanning capability - so it's probably an easier way of standardising the check in & ticketing procedure?

*Dom speaks into his dictaphone*

Dom: "Blog idea number 3 - why are 99's £1.19? Where's the 20p come from?!!?"

a muffled sound of people talking comes from the tv

Dom: "What's that you're watching Nic?"

Nic: "Grumpy Old Men Series 3"

Dom: "That's me sorted for the next 20 months"

Well if you didn't read it you don't know if it summed it up nicely or not. So did you read it? Because if you didn't, you have no basis on which to make that statement. And if you did read it, you have no NEED to make that statement.

Nope, I stated yesterday that I didn't read it because it wouldn't load.

But you can't know if it did sum it up. It's like reading a review and using the thoughts in it as fact.

Maybe we should tweet him the link to when we discussed the Starbucks name policy when they first brought it in.

Define "care". In the context of my use of these messageboards, yes. In the context of my life as a whole, not in the least!
