is it just me or was the first series free to view on the internet. i may be wrong but i thought it was. anyway to view the live webcams it is £9:99 Rip Off.

Live streaming and the hardware required to cope with hundreds of thousands of viewers doesn't come cheap, y'know. While it's a shame that the webcasts are no longer free I guess Endemol have to pay their bills somehow.

Now that you can get 24-hour coverage on E4 anyway, it's hard to justify the cost of the webcasts without having people pay a nominal amount to view them. - jc

Um, as far as I remember BT Cellnet charged a one-off fiver for the text message business. Unless you got the free deal through Heat mag or something?
