I got an email from you something to do with an IE 6 patch but there was no attachment. I dunno if this makes a difference but i have IE 5 anyway.

Not from me - sounds like a virus.

For what it's worth, someone keeps sending me viruses - someone who has me in their address book, and who uses ntlworld.com. It's worth investing in a virus checker and ALWAYS checking your emails.

I don't send out unsolicited emails to people from the board - if you receive anything odd apparently from mailto:'@chrismoyles.net' - check the headers.

That'll most likely be Klez. A friend of mine in New York recently got infected with that and I suddenly started getting lots of random e-mails with attachments totalling around 120k. Check the Return Path in the full headers of the e-mail and you'll find out who's infected. - jc
