The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

...I'm convinced that Moyles' chat with the Newsbeat peeps after the 5 o'clock bulletin was pre-recorded, as I heard the first bit (about how he was all set to go out drinking) twice, complete with identical text message sounds from a nearby mobile.

I'm probably delusional, but did anyone else pick up on that? - jc

I think the whole show was pre-recorded, I noticed that newsbeat bit too.
Also, the webcam wasn't on while they were on air, and the bit where he read out about someone seeing them on the M6 while the show was on air sounded like his way of saying that they aren't actually live.

perhaps the way he said "you should have been here at three, and now look, its 5:30" was another set up clue?

things which made no sense on todays show,

1) the Phone call segment was wierd and sounded strange
2)how the hell would they get to Manchester soo quickly after the show?
3) Daves toilet visit.....very quick

although they talked about the Football.......and they knew the "britians sexiest result" so it could have been recorded this morning

ALSO....

yesterday, moyles said "they have bloody rehearsals!?" yet today greco said he'd only seen a few of them about - surely theyd start a rehearsal before 4:30 or whenever it was - possibly meaning the show was this morning

yeah but you for Tv show rehearsals you dont need the contesants..could be technological rehearsals
By The Peter Kay Fan
#23017
true, but surely all the talking, and the order they come out in, and what they say etc needs to be rehearsed?

or am i talking b0llocks here? :P

I noticed the mobile thing too... I reckon the whole show was pre-recorded, and because the webcam was offline it suggests that.

Notice they didnt do the pips for the tedious link thing either...

I don't think that gives away anything as if you are actualy using the live pips, they only come at the top of the hour anyway. I think they're just on tape when he uses them each day.

2 points: I am sure there is pips on the half hour too...

And, if they use it on tape then they still didnt use it because if it was recorded they couldnt be 100% sure it would be exactly 5:30 when they did it say for example if the news lasted slightly longer than usual...

also they show finished at 5:48, rather than 5:45..

anyway, this is all turning geeky again so lets end it NOW!

So, if the show was pre-recorded, how did he manage to do his '2 way' with the news monkey's? You can't record the news!!

The news could have been live, but the post-news chat could have been prerecorded to make it sound live.

Sent an email to Will asking if it was pre recorded and he replied saying:

"What makes you think that?"

My mole at the BBC knows that most of moyles's links is pre recorded most of the shows are pre recorded. The truth be known the show is probably going to all recorded for the next 3 months....

In the past he's accidentaly let the pre-record go out on air while it was being recorded (if you know what I mean?). A record was on and he was pre-recording the next link (it was a phone call) and it could be heard at the same level as the record.

I've seen all the stuff you've put and no one even mentioned the highlights of Fridays show was actually from a couple of weeks/months ago!

and Moyles is always moaning about hardly getting any time off!

I think they usually pre record phone calls - just incase anyone swears or something...
By pond life

In fact all this gives credence to the rumours that Moyles is dead or seriously ill and they are using a voice/body double and limiting his public appearances much like Saddam does...

How do you limit the public appearances of a bloke who's croaked? Surely you'd have to stop the altogether....?
