Sweet Home Alabama for me I think.

Incidentally, I'm sure basket case was released in 1994, I bought it at uni.

Alabama wins it for me, in an otherwise poor week I thought.

I thought it was a much better week than last week. Although Carrie's choice caused a bit of a brain malfunction as the song reminded of something but I couldn't remember what. I know, that makes no sense, but it happens to me from time to time. Hearing the song reminds me that I associated it with something, but I fail to remember what I associated with it!

Anyway, while I was tempted by Sweet Home Alabama, I've gone with Dom this week.

TIAL wrote:Would have been Sweet Home Alabama, but I've heard it way too much and the Kid Rock song also sounds a lot like it.

Beck for me.

agree 100%, the kid rock song is based on Sweet Home Alabama and uses the exact music thats why the sound alike

C-Kay wrote:Dom for me, anyone who picks Stone Roses is a winner, though Waterfall is quite an obvious choice, as is Fools Gold. Would have rathered Ten Storey Love Song or something, but you cant have it all i guess.

She Bangs The Drum for me. My girlfriend would probably opt for Made Of Stone though.

Sweet Home Alabama has always been the song I hate the most. Ever! Good God. And he keeps playing that pissing Kid Rock song that samples it. I don't listen to Radio 1 for this crap! I can get this in my own country by tuning to the *shudder* southern rock stations. Lynyrd Skynyrd?! Blegh. Seriously? That's like listening to Creedence Clearwater! I'm so disappointed. What's next? A hoe-down? Gah. I pray that Kid Rock comes off the playlist soon. It's worse than Nickelcrap!

When I was in Florida last year I was pretty much subjected to Chad wanting to be a Rock Star for the whole three weeks. When it wasn't that, it was Pink complaining "Who Knew". Pink doesn't get played here much, but a couple of months after I got back, Nickelcrap were on the radio with that same song. It's been nearly a year since I was over there and the song is now in bloody sofa adverts, just to continue annoying me.

Hey, they're not THAT bad.

Vivienne wrote:Californians have no taste.

Viv, is this another one of your "jokes"? You've just referred to the rest of the choices as "crap city" and that would include Sweet Home Alabama. Ergo, my tastes, at least in regards to that song, would coincide with your own. Does this mean Scottish women in Ayrshire have no taste as well?

Or were you saying Nickelpap is good? What a heinous thought.

Munki, you have my sympathies. There's nothing worse than having a song you detest played over and over again ad nauseum and then turned into an advert!

How can you come to that conclusion when you say................

Could you, kindly, stop being rude and insulting to people like this. You're not only making yourself look stupid but also vindictive and vicious.

I have NEVER been vindictive or vicious Vivienne. I may have been a little silly and over reacted at times but you seem to be queen of stupidity, narrow-mindedness and downright rudeness just recently.
