Should Chris be polite to new Bands?

I heard Chris comment this morning on a Band who had attempted to give him their CD at 0615 hours yesterday.

Now Chris (as we know) is Mr Grumpy first thing, and it sounds like he wasn't very welcoming.

So today, a person who knows the Band has texted in this morning to say that this particular Band work very hard. Chris' reaction to this was to say that many people work very hard, and "that's life".

Now, I agree to a point. However, I'm sorry but I do feel Chris is no ordinary "Joe Bloggs In The Street", is very much in the public eye, and should have been polite.

Do you agree/ disagree?

In that case, the question is based around whether you think Moyles cares about his reputation or if he even thinks it would damage it. I'd say that he doesn't really care, as the only reason we know that he's 'been rude' is because he has told us.

I think any band who gives their CD to Chris should know his personality and reputation and should be prepared for however he decides to respond. If they can't face a dressing down about their music or worse, they should give it to a different DJ!

Why should Chris have to act differently as he is in the public eye.

Im a grumpy bastard when people hastle me in the street, if I became famous I would still tell them to stick the clipboard up there arse(or maybe get one of my minions to do it)

It worked for Doug Walker and his 'The Mystery', I think thats why Chris is more wary of what he plugs nowadays.

I dunno if anyone caught it this morning but later on someone texted in bleating on about how the band in question had "worked sooooo hard for their so-called keep, so there" But then Chris was trying to hammer home the point that "it aint gonna cut no ice with the bloke that emptys your rubbish every week, plays the lottery and never wins, whilst another bloke on the dole secretly WORKS, but wins the lottery" Life is unfair, hard working people don't get recognized.

That's a good point, Saviour.
