The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

So then? What was the general consensus regarding these 2 this morning?

I have to say it was a bit odd having them on this morning. Seemed a bit too serious for my liking.

Wonder who's idea it was to have them on the show!

Yudster wrote:I can tell you who I never ever want on the show again - Kirsty and Phil who were on this morning. Dull dull dull - really rubbish. The show sounded like The Surgery, which isn't really needed because there is a perfectly good time slot for The Surgery (where I can easily avoid it). Please don't do this again.

Actually I don't mean the show has been dull. Just the bit with Kirsty and Phil.

Topher wrote:I had never heard of them before this morning, but it didn't sound like a barrel of laughs when they said they did some property programmes.

Johnny Karate wrote:Yeah, they didn't really qualify as monday morning entertainment in my ears, and I'm in a terrible mortgage situation.

I thought they where OK but not brilliant. Chris took a step back abit this morning, probably because he knew he couldent make light of a boring situation.

Well, the BBC might be obliged to do this kind of stuff every now and then - but the Moyles show is neither the time nor the place. I do hope they manage to do something entertaining with Alan Sugar, apparently his guest appearance this week is all part of the same BBC thing.

What BBC thing? Not that I watch the show but I thought LLL was on channel 4. Mind you there's so many of these home shows I do get confused sometimes.

Apparently they were on - as is Alan Sugar - as part of a BBC careers thing. Which, bearing in mind some of the advice they gave out this morning, seems a little daft. Almost as daft as trying to actually push this kind of "info-cational" stuff through the Moyles show in the first place.

It'll be interesting to hear what Sir Alan will have to say then.

Invent a half decent computer then be mean to everybody for no reason.

I'm sure if Kirstie and Phil had been in the jungle this year the team would've moaned and come up with their own lists - so now they know how we feel about some property phone-in session hijacking the show, leaving aside the usual shananighans.

I wasn't in too much of a bad mood to endure the phone-in, as its most probably a one-off I'm not too fickle as to start getting annoyed about it, I'm all for something different, and I respect the fact Moyles shunted the texters when they cried out that it was boring - he even kept the property duo on during ramble, which is normally only afforded to those guests that make brilliant listening.

I felt sorry for the younger lot though, it was a bit advanced for them, why not stick these Z-listers on Sara or Edith's show? If you were listening on the way to school the only thing you were bothered about moving was the hydraulic desk.

I'm looking forward to Alan Sugar appearing live, and Louis Walsh, certainly.

Didn't Moyles say that when he mentions the Hydraulic desk it's a secret cue to get rid of the guests...sure he said it when Cheggers was in.

I really though that this was dull and not the time or the place.

WE are faced with doom and gloom in the papers, news, everywhere you turn. Yo bring this to a light hearted show i feel is a step too far, if people are really interested then they can seek the infomration on their own.

The irony of these two giving financial advice is really not lost on me. I am an independent financial advisor and i am heavily regulated in my advice, these two however can preach on a public radio show without any qualifications..

These shows are part of the reason for the financial situation, showing programme after programme of people making a quick buck on a property. Forcing house prices up way past inflation.

It is greed that has got us here and to promote these two is just wrong.
