She is really starting to get on my nerves now. I naively thought that come this year's Big Weekend, a new person (from Swindon) would do the promo trails for it.

Nope, still Holly from Maidstone, still with the same godawful distortion effect. I'm surprised Chris hasn't mentioned her lately, considering how vocal he was when she first got the voiceover job I believe it was something along the lines of "Do you know Holly from Maidstone? No? Well we all bloody do now..."


Surely I'm not alone in my irrational hatred of the smug, high-pitched annoyance that is Holly....am I?

For those who don't know...Holly was one of the 'people from Maidstone' who did adverts for the Big Weekend last year. She now has the voiceover contract for all the Radio 1 voice clips (like saying 'Newsbeat' and the Chart Show numbers) Surely I'm not the only one who detests her voice!
