The Mirror claims Chris gave this interview to them http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-storie ... -21306997/ But I refuse to believe it.Chris sounds arrogant and boastful in it,as if he has a right to be on breakfast forever.I rfuse to believe he would be stupid enough to take that tone.Surely this is made up rubbish.If it really was Chris I must say I am dissappointed in him.I think Chris foolishly gave the interview in good faith but clearly they lied to him and have delibarately distorted what he said or taken it out of context.Chris should just stay clear of all crappy tabloids forever.

Chris made a big mistake giving that interview if he really did.He cant afford to antagonise the BBC bosses any more than they allready are.They wont like his attitude in that .But fortunately he didnt give it so it doesnt matter.

Well Andy Parfitt and Ben Cooper don't share your opinion!.and whats more neither does Chris.He's often mentioend that he enjoys listening to Scotts show while he's on the treadmill.Thats why I know this interview has been fabricated or distorted.Chris likes and respects Scott.He would never say anything disrepectful about him in a tabloid interview.Its yet another tabloid digging up dirt and trying to cause trouble ,just like the Sun.

Since Chris joined Radio 1 he's said he's the 'saviour' and he's the best, you are taking this way too seriously. Greg James doesnt have enough experience, nor the following just yet. I will say that one day he WILL be hosting the breakfast show, but it's too early in his career. I am one of few on here who doesn't mind Scott, but his show doesn't work in the mornings, plus he's the same age as Chris, so that scuppers that idea.

Edith Bowman, well, the less said about her the better, Vernon would do ok because he's popular on TV as well as radio, whereas Edith had a failed TV career and turned to radio. Nick Grimshaw is just dull. Jo Whiley is too much of a specialist show to do it, as is Zane Lowe. Colin Murray is leaving, so who does that leave?

Scott is ok, not brilliant. I only tend to listen when I'm bored or something interesting is happening. The only thing that I give Scott credit for now is not pre-recording most of his links like he used too.

Chris & The team will always get my respect, they are brilliant at what they do and nobody within the radio market has come close to them, yet. I'm sure oneday somebody will.

Its commenly known that Chris' show is one of the most thought about/prepered shows within radio (not scripted!) and it shows by just how good it is on-air. The best bit being that they make it all sound by accident and as if you are part of the conversation. There is far more skill in it that most people realise.
