The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

He did well I thought. It adds a whole new dimension to it being able to watch the interview as well as listen - if I'd just been listening I think I'd probably be more cynical. But if Katie really is going to do a "no holds barred" interview with Piers Moron then any comparison between the two will put Peter very firmly on the right side of people's respect after this I think.

i think it was a fantastic inteview handled well, and peter came across as a very nice guy: not as naive. I won't be watching the piers morgan interview because his sausage face turns me right off, and his voice is as welcoming as chris akkabusi at a bnp party.

Yes, straight in at the deep end with the questions, rather than the usual chatty banter to begin with, but in it's own way this interview proved to be a great team effort, they all showed him warmth and from the bits I could see while Dom was reading the news - Pete seemed completely happy and relaxed to be there, I liked the way they all chipped in with the odd question. Radio is different to the scandal and gossip of the tabloids cos you can enjoy it for what it is. And that I did.

Agreed, he was exactly how you would expect a reasonable person to be. The fact that it's live Radio is very clever, as there is no chance of being mis-quoted or edited to come across in a different way than you intended. The song itself was ok as well, which was a surprise.

I just loved Aled and his "gay" question about still being friends....

I really hope Katie comes in soon, that would be a great show too.

I agree boboff on the fact live Radio is 1 of the best choices, anyone can get hold of the audio and listen to whats been said from the horses mouth.

Nice to see the softer side to Chris aswell and all the team in fact. Good to hear Dave chip in with a couple of the questions people want to know the answers to. Unfortunately I could only listen as I was driving to work.

I love Chris' line about Michael Jackson - 'you can't expect to be in the public limelight your entire life without being just a little gibber gibber squawk'

I never doubted Peter Andre was a nice guy. Cheesy as all hell, but a nice guy anyway. He seems more concerned about his kids than anything else, which is the way it should be. I'll bet Katie isn't as concerned - or worse will probably use them as a stick to beat him - when she's talking to Piers Organ.

Although, to be honest, she's talking to that detestable wankstain, so she's already lost the argument. Not to mention its a live radio broadcast on one of the biggest audiences you can find versus a one to one pre-recorded interview where you can pick and choose what goes out. Not even a close contest.

Peter Andre came across as a very nice guy this morning. Well done to him for looking out for his kids' best interests no matter what's happened between him and their mother.

Jocky, the t-shirt was given to him at the end of the interview by Chris and the team. Nice to see him joining in with their sense of humour.

i fully expected chris too go all out and go for blood with the questions. I was pleasently suprised that chris conducted the interview in the way it happened. This put both peter in a very strong light against katie. But also shown the show and especially chris that they are able too conduct serious interviews with serious issues firmly without any of the negative comments that have been said in the past about joking around and flirting.

As for a post that said they'd like katie on. It would be good as i feel that chris with a open mind will be able too objectively show katie in the way that she's shown. Which upto now is in a negative light.

Why would he want to do that though? I got the impression that he thought the Morgan interview is only going to be bad for her, and he felt she could help herself by avoiding that kind of thing. I didn't get the idea at all that he had the slightest interest in showing her up.

it's not that he'll go in the interview looking too show her up. I think i explained my example badly. What i mean is that if katie goes on the show. She will show herself up. Chris i feel will do a serious interview. And katie will take the interview as any other interview.

does he swear?

as i think he does but my mate does not

No, I don't think so either, sounds like he starts the word 'She' then changes to the work 'look' so the 'She' is ended abruptly.

At the time I thought it was, and Aled looked as if he was unsure. But if it was swearing surely it would never have made it onto the iPlayer.

I think I must be the only person in the UK who doesn't quite buy the Peter Andre saint act. He's clearly a nice bloke and a good dad, I'm not disputing that, but I think he's being very well advised and playing a brilliant game. I watched a few of their tv shows and I don't think either of them came across very well, they weren't very respectful of each other and used to call each other horrid names.

I feel a bit sorry for Katie Price, she's not doing herself any favours for sure and I'm certainly not a 'fan', but her husband has just left her and she's gone off the rails a bit, I'm not sure how I'd cope if my husband walked out on me. I'm not going to applaud him for being a great dad because as far as I'm concerned that should be a given, and if that's all it takes to get good press then it's a sad state of affairs, in my opinion. There was a lot made of him having the children while she was on holiday, but she did the same when he went away.

Anway, what do I know

I agree. I never said I thought he was wonderful, I said I thought he handled himself very well and that it seemed he had possibly made better PR decisions that Katie has done. Yes, he seems like a nice bloke, but I'm not so daft to think that he doesn't know its in his interests to have the world think that.

Oh no, I know you didn't, it was more a moan about the amount of people who suddenly think he's some deity of fatherhood and she's suddenly the she devil, it makes me laugh truth be told
