I know its probably a very geeky thing to be watching out for, but the mix of Golden hour and 1FM jingles hitting their cue perfectly this morning combined with some fantastic golden hour tracks made for some cracking radio, in particular the intro to the Progidy at 2hrs45min in was so sweet!
Why so many local stations can't pull it off is beyond me.

Capital used to be brilliant with it in the late 90's. Steve Penk did the Top Ten At Ten & Pat Sharp (who did the 10am-1pm slot before him) did the Time Tunnel (I believe) & they were always a great listen. Don't know if they still do something similar on there now though.

I think Heart stations do the Time Tunnel.

Was trying to get across how close it is to crashing but at the same time timed perfectly, no margin for error! Think he might have got the wrong end of the stick on Twitter. Definetly no offence intended

Its easy to miss the fact that Chris is a technical radio genius. You don't realise how precise he is with everything until you listen to someone - anyone! - else.

i remember one time when doing a local d.j style. There was a song that had drums or something in between the the start of the song. Chris was talking between the beats.
It was something like this for example.

Well we've got great songs (beat) coming up on hot 10 at 10 (beat) coming up we have our compertition (beat) (beat) we'll give away a pen(beat) in win a pen (beat) now lets get back too the exiting sounds (beat) of ((song name)) (song vocals)

I can't remember the song unfortuantly. And i know my example i've given is not very good. But It was probably middle of last year he did it. But it shows the genious of the man.
