The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

It appears that Cheggers pop quiz is the be 'rested' if the team are to believed this morning.

Very short lived feature, especially when you compare it to Car Park Catchprase.

They mentioned it at the beginning of yesterday's quiz as well, sounds definite.

I quite enjoyed it (once they'd all but got rid of Cheggers), but I also enjoyed CPC as well. Basically any format of having a not too serious "competition" between two callers which is shamelessly rigged whenever Chris feels like it works for me.

Shame - I actually prefer it to CPC.

Did CPQ, last longer than Beep Beep Busters? I know that one was cut short because of the phoen in scandal but I can't remember to be honest?

The "feature" at the end of the show has always just seemed like a bit of a pointless thing slapped on for no reason to me. I think that kind of listener participation works well when its occasional and spontaneous, but I don't think the show needs a regular feature like that.

I wouldn't be surprised if they brought back Carpark Catchphrase for a bit and then went back to Chegger's Pop Quiz after the next couple of holidays they have and just alternate it like that.

I always got the impression they struggled to get enough people registering for the Cheggars feature. I can't remember how they did it in the past though - did you always have to register on the website for CPC and so on?

Is that Natalie girl still going?

There's rigging it so that a contestant you like stays on, but I'm way past bored of it now!

She was still on yesterday, don't know about today. Although yesterday she won in her own right if I remember rightly.

She got beat today, finally.

CPQ was a disaster from the start, so was Beep Beep Busters. CPC was just genius, i wouldn't mind one bit if they brought it back, along with Roy, of course.

I'd also like to see Birthday Corner and Celebrity Tarzan make a return, and Buzz Off, but this time do it with new records rather than old ones, and if a track gets Buzzed Off, it never gets played on the show again.

I'd say it was a disaster at the start, but then they tightened up by losing the Cheggers joke part and pushing the daft categories and blatant "helping". Since then I've always enjoyed it.

I'd forgotten about Buzz Off until I downloaded a couple of old shows, including Juliettes last show, the inspiration for my Golden Hour choice was from there. I loved this feature, bring it back!!

While I was reading this the nodding dog advert came on :D. But it was the karaoke one which is annoying

When the whole "scandal" about phone rigging came out a few years back, of which the press have never forgotten although have conveniently forgotten that ITV had the same thing going on at the same time as well.

Chris Moyles, the team & the game weren't involved in it but because there was an involvement within the BBC every prize giving game had to stop. That's why Chris can't give away prizes on CPQ,CPC & any other "silly" game, much to Moyles' annoyment (at one time at least, he says "don't get me started" on one of the podcasts when they mention about giving away prizes)

I used to like Buzz Off but I understand it wasn't very popular.

I'll not miss CPQ, I thought it was a complete farce and a bit pointless.

I suppose we can mark down Chegger's Pop Quiz with those other "classic" features:

Beep Beep Busters
How Many Sugars?
King Of Tickets
Play Your Footie Teams Right
Send Us Your Money
and of course May Divorce Be With You

Strangely enough, yes he may well have been. It was filming for Celebrity Come Dine With Me
