I must say that I agree with you on most things but there may seem to be not many users in the Chatroom for one good reason ... it's buggered up! I know your going to say look at the thread from last month or whatever about using MiRC or whatever but it has to be said mate, it needs looking at! Why cant us regulars all of a sudden use it?

I use IRC at home but at uni, i can't get through the firewall. I think it should be reprogrammed so I can access it despite the firewall. By the way Mr. Hill, how big is your signature because it's taking hours to download it.

YOU CANT JUST TURN IT OFF!!! What would be the point of a decent firewall if anyone can turn it off?

After hours and hours (5 minutes) I was able to access the chat room, I had to of course download MIRC first. Its really not that hard to understand but it would be good if you had a decent script on the site that did all the work for you. There are several easy to set up scripts available free online which are custamizable for the HTML and JAVA endowed amoung you.

Thats not me but Im sure the person who did this site (which is rather class) would'nt have a problem.

Find out which ports aren't blocked on your network, then find someone kind enough to setup port forwarding on their box. They forward a port which you can get out through, to the irc port on irc.webmaster.com.
