I thought i was doing well not crying at any of the films, but Chris's film was my breaking point. I think the fact that he was trying so hard to keep it together but you can see how upset he is made it even worse :( Well done Chris!

Johnny 1989 wrote:Very moving film, bought tears to my eyes.

What's wrong with your tear ducts that you now have to buy tears? ;)

I always skip all those weepy video segments of charity event shows. But I've just finished watching the last programme documenting Eddie Izzard's amazing run around the UK, which has made me go online and donate to a BBC charity event for the first time ever. What he did by far surpasses all of the other celebrity challenges for Sport relief by miles in my opinion. He ws never really on my radar before, but I now have the utmost respect and admiration for that man.

I was discussing this with colleagues on Friday; I reckon I could run a marathon if I trained enough (and I still intend to) and I reckon I could do Kilimanjaro with the right preparation - and would love to (not to take anything from the people who did it) - but what Eddie did is utterly beyond me and actually if it was suggested to me before his attempt, I think I'd have said it was physically impossible. It was totally incredible.

Totally agree with you on this.
I am sure that it was last year that I donated to this as I am a big fan of Eddie Izzard. I forgot all about it and then this year it was mentioned again and I could not believe what Eddie was actually doing. Had I not watched the filming of this I would never have believed this was possible from a non athlete.
I believe he ran again yesterday aswell 8O

Yea, apparently he did the 6 mile run over and over again for as long as he could.
