Johnny.

But I think theres just Casualty left now as far as emergency service drama goes. I remember when 'London's Burning' tried willy waving to capture younger audiences and failed.

 No I only watch the really old The Bill episodes, back when the series was really good.

My opinion on this, well the series has sort of lost it's way a bit but I have to ask the question "What the * does ITV have on anymore?" I mean they have axed so many programmes of recent & replaced them with shite so many times now, I think that if Harry Hill had not signed another deal with ITV, that I don't think I'd ever watch the channel again. Lew Grade (ATV) & Richard Dunn (Thames) must be up there looking down at ITV, shaking their heads at what a piss poor channel it has become. The worst thing about this is that a lot of those that worked on the programme at Talkback Thames will be made redundant (thanks ITV)

Two quotes have stood out for me:

The channel insisted the move to axe the show was a creative decision and was not done to cut.

"Whilst The Bill will come to an end in 2010, we will continue to invest more in drama programming than any other commercial broadcaster in the UK

More * programmes with Piers Moron then

You can tell without contacting him it's not him on 3 levels.
1. Think of one Matt and 5 million regular listeners who would want to imitate him.
2. Wouldn't make him many friends at the Beeb.
3. Matt Fincham is not someone who would strike me as a Daily Mail reader.

Well, it's one thing to spend your money buying and reading a paper, it's another to look up an article online about a topic you're particularly interested in. That said, i think the comment was probably written by a listener who thought it would be funny to pretend to be Matt.

Would that be the cute brother who has just passed all his tests and exams and stuff and become a firefighter? The cute one in that fabby uniform.....?

The only uniform I've ever found a bit "cute" was a nurses uniform (obviously not the NHS ones they have these days). I'll be totally honest I've never got the schoolgirl one, don't get how that turns people on at all, especially when the other half is dressed up as the headmaster 8O

Who needs a schoolgirl uniform when you look as good in a kilt as you do?
