I am way behind on the iplayer but thought it was nice of Chris to say "bye" to the iplayer listeners on the Fearne hand-over on...whatever day it was I was listening too (possibly Wednesday, I have closed the window now).

So, yeah...in the most geeky post I have ever make, thanks Chris :)

Of course, the BBC could always extend their iPlayer "recording" of The Chris Moyles Show by another 5 minutes, and then we could listen to the whole handover, like we should be able to anyway. I have emailed them again about this (having done so a long time ago and being ignored), and I would urge others to do the same.

Fun fact: the @name syntax popularised on twitter was already in use on forums, comment threads, mailing lists and other such internet lists where a post is to a thread and there's no obvious way to direct a response at a certain individual. :)

Or go to the Fearn show for a bit?

If I were on the iPlayer team, Id ignore you too.

ianpwilliams wrote:Whatever. As far as I'm concerned, it's still The Chris Moyles Show until Chris and Fearne stop talking. Therefore the iPlayer should cover the show up to that point.

The Chris Moyles Show is broadcast from 0630 to 1000. After 1000 its Fearne's show. I'm not quite sure why they even give you the extra five minutes, there's no requirement for them to do so. I think you're being silly.
