I would have said sportstalk but it is a lot better now then it was. I dont think there is anything to axe just stuff to improve on. Maybe we'll all get into FA more when you inteview Ashley tomorrow. Mmm yes Ashley tahts who was chucked off, i remember ashley being chucked off.

i think you should let will and dave have a few links to themselves and see if they can cope without chris' imput. its always funny to hear them struggling or messing up a link like the newsbeat thing.

I'd kill some of the pub talk. It's funny to start with, to hear what each member was up to the night before, etc, etc, but when it's been dragged on for several links it kind of gets a bit dull. They don't do this ALL the time, but it has happened before.

A strong, regular feature (like viaduct) which has audience participation and is at a certain time would be perfect as it can be teased throughout the show, build up a reputation, last a decent amount of time and be really funny. I think the team has the energy to do it at the mo aswell, at various points in the past everyone's seemed a bit tired so it wouldn't have been the right thing to do. GET A PRIZE BUDGET AND GET SOME PRIZES!!!!

Viaduct was good, the problem was that the thick listeners than Melinda kept putting through killed the feature.

Ah well, that's melinda for you. It always seemed as if he was just someone management had dragged in off the street rather than a trained broadcast assistant! Him and producer Rhys made a great team I though.

Why bother getting a budget and prizes - the lines are pretty much choc a bloc as it is without even a comp. If Chris tells people to call in they crash the system! Why bother with a prize? Leave that to Dave pearce

the Breakfast Show is the flagship, god forbid us, and they need to compete against the rest so that usually means bring out the giveaways, what other reason would people sit down and listen to a brassy tart who cant string a sentence together. The only competiters Chris has is from Zoe Ball and nobody outside London can listen to her except if you have digital radio and not many people i know have them.

I'll be listening to Internet radio stations a lot more once I have ADSL, and that includes XFM.

Onto the subject. I have to switch over whenever there's a Sportstalk feature or mock-606 show segment because that's the one thing about the show that I can't stand listening to. I'd love Viaduct and/or Caraoke back, though: the only thing that spoils those features is excessive numbers of dumb contestants, which can be controlled with some decent filtering.
