As soon as the camera panned on the audience the screen went blank
Enter a very nervous voiceover man to say that they have lost the feed to the show and would get it back as soon as possible.
10 minutes later of blank screen and music and Voiceover man sounding as though someone has got a gun at his head, they give up and go to some other show.

David Dickinson quits daytime TV

David Dickinson is quitting daytime TV to concentrate on his new primetime slot.

He says he's finding it too tiring to record two Bargain Hunt shows a day.

The show, which has a cult following of students, won Most Popular Daytime TV Show at the National TV Awards.

It was moved to a primetime slot earlier this year after regularly attracting two million viewers.

Dickinson said: "At the moment I'm not going to do daytime, only prime-time shows.

"This year I have done 98 shows and it has been like a marathon. I could not do both and had to make a painful decision. I simply couldn't manage daytime."

its like you win an award for daytime and then give it up that very night. not really giving much to the people is he. he thanks the people who voted then stabs them in the back. Im waiting for the Dickinson backlash to kick in.
