Well just incase anyone did miss it...

It started with "O Fortuna", and the Macedonia goals. Then it suddenly cut off...some cheesy music came on, and an unsual voice said "We're sorry but we seem to have lost the Chris Moyles show...we'll be back as soon as we can" (something like that)

He said it about 3 times, then told us that Chris was back.... and Avril Lavigne came on (however u spell it!)

Seems odd that a television channel with thousands of pounds' worth of professional-made idents and logos resorts to the same elevator muzak that every other television channel has used during a breakdown for the past thirty years. - jc

anyway didnt moyles say a while back that if they totally lose the show for 15 seconds spiller - groovejet (or something similar) automatically plays.

i know this this sounds really sad but what happens when radio 1 loses the show that is transmitting about 1 minute later daniel beddingfield - i gotta get through this kicks in. honestly

But lets be serious when you are waitng for your favorite shwo to come back on air and you hear that song wouldnt it make you switch off altogeher!!!

I can't believe people actually fell for this gag. It's like the time he turned up 'drunk' after the England game. People actually believed it was real! How stupid are people? Mind you if you're a regular listener to Chris then you learn to expect things like that.
