The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

That sounded nothing like Chris to me. Don't get me wrong, I think Jon Culshaw nails many impressions that he does, but this isn't one of them. I don't know whether this is because I listen everyday and am therefore fairly familiar with the sound of Chris's voice, but all it sounded like was Jon Culshaw's normal voice with bucket load of phlegm in his throat.

Edit: Okay, after listening to it again to does sound slightly like Chris (specifically the bit where he's talking about being out on the lash :D ) but still not great.

i actually thought it was terrible , considering they've been friends for years you would've thought he'd have perfected his voice by now. Plus why did they get a fat bloke to play Dom ? :D

It will be interesting to hear whether Chris talks about this tomorrow. I'd be surprised if Chris says anything bad (what with Culshaw being an old friend), even though it's hardly flattering.

Got to say, his impression is poor. Sounds more like John Peel than Chris...

I didn't see it on the telly but I heard the audio this morning and in certain places the voice was absolutely perfect I thought.

It sounded nothing like Chris whatsoever! As someone else said, it just sounded like Jon Culshaw. Some of Debra Stephenson's impressions are excellent, but Culshaw just sounds like himself in most of his impressions.

I cant say I found it funny either.

Just watched it, and yeah, I agree that while he has Chris' vocal patterns and speaking manner down very well, his actual voice sounded nothing like Chris.

Yeah, they have a few ads here and there sometimes but it's never anything like The Apprentice or something where it's almost impossible to not know when it is starting.

Wow. I watched it just thinking Holy Crap, this is weird! It was sort of funny, I guess. What was odd was that it looked like it was written by someone trying to take the mickey out of the show, but they'd never heard it. Which is odd, as John is a "friend of the show".
It seemed like they were trying to make fun of the crassness of the show, when Chris really wouldn't fart on the show. OK, he does burp now and again.

Very disconcerting seeing the team, as they have the outfits spot on, but not the actual bodies! (from left to right) Fat-Dom, Fat-Tina, Taller-and-No-Fivehead-Aled and Looks-Nothing-Like-Dave-So-We'll-Hide-His-Face.

I haven't heard Thursday's show yet. Did they mention it?

Yes this was funny, both that impression skit and Chris and the team talking about it this morning. I think Dom and Tina were shocked at their characters. Next week the team returns and dead Dave is resurrected and rejoins the show. Matt Fincham becomes the producer of the show in some strange twist of fate.

Culshaw's Brian Cox was funny.

Her Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall are exactly the same impression with slightly different hair and make up.
