It was good - Shame Fulham didn't go the full way and beat Man United mind, I was pleased when it was 1-0.

Leeds lost - boohoo!

Leicester ended their undefeated home run (hence the signiture change), by going down against Burnley. That puts them 3rd.

Nothing to be proud of when you have 12 men playing for you including the man in black. :(

Oh yeah, and the away/goalie shirts are scandalous.

Judging by what I saw of Everton twice last season, unless they've improved vastly, they were lucky.

Arsenal deserve a bit of bad luck, especially after the West Ham and Chelsea games.

It's a shame Man Utd couldn't win and make up a bit of ground on Liverpool and Arsenal. My grandad was very happy with the win anyway, as will my cousins, auntie and uncle.

Two home games against Aston Villa and Southampton next for my team Man United and then the big derby away match against City I can't wait it will be fantastic.

Well they're the richest team in the world and higher in the table than Spurs, we also beat Spurs this season, and a couple of seasons ago we "borrowed" one of thier players for 2 seasons so that fans would stop singing those dreadful songs about him not winning any trophies. We were also losing 3-0 to Spurs last season and in the we scored 5 goals against the woeful Spurs defence to beat them. We are top of our champions league table after beating last years runners up.

My grandad was born in Salford, he was a City fan though. Luckily my dad went the other way or I could've ended up sitting at Maine Road on Saturday afternoons. :/

You don't need to be born in an area to support a team. Man Utd fans have got this reputation mainly because they have been so successful they have attracted fans from around the globe. Liverpool did the same in the 80s, no-one mentions them.

I'm a Scot and much prefer watching Man Utd to anyone else playing down south. I wouldn't say I'm a fan but can understand why people support them.

As for Everton being lucky, isnt it funny when someone doesn't watch a game then proceeds to come onto a forum and say a team must have been lucky.

In closing Jonny Hoare seems to know less about football than my Gran.

Hey I know you don't need to be - I come fae Scotland, I like Leeds because of my Dad, plus there is no Shetland footie team in the Premiership of Scottish one either!

Of course you have to have been born in the area, or have some sort of connection. Hence the team being called MANCHESTER United, or LIVERPOOL FC. Plus you're not a fan if you dont' go to the games. You "follow" them. Football isn't about just picking your favourite premiership team, or the one that's doing best at the time, then choosing to "support" them all your life. It shouldn't work like that. :(

Of course you can be a fan if you don't go to the games. No everyone has £100 to spend for a couple of hours out. Not everyone can get a ticket who wants one either with most of the bigger clubs season ticketed upto max and 5 year waiting lists.

Not everyone actually likes going to the matches either. I support Celtic but don't go. Maybe once a year. I can't abide the bigoty that goes on there, add to that the low standard of competative football in Scotland I'd rather not spend all my wages for 2 hours of no enjoyment. I still support them though. Perhaps don't spend as much money on them as other fans, but I still support them.

No worries, I was able to use it :) Show is up, a[…]
