Don't want to give too much away, ie my nom de plume 8) , but who's playing the game at the mo?

Was disappointed with Grimmy, he just listed all the ones they'd found....I would have rated him better if he played along with it, but his reading of Scot Chegg was dismal, or did someone post in as Scotch Chegg? - not quite as discreet.

I am thrilled that our old friend Toby LeRone is back!! GREAT news!! I don't listen to anything else so I don't have any plans to contribute but sure I am going to be laughing just as much as when he last visited.

I'm playing along and failed cos they didn't read out the surname. Best to go away from Radio 1 I would have thought and you're more likely to succeed.

I'm avoiding radio1 all together as they would be looking out for all the silly names. I'm aiming to get a couple on radio Berkshire as they would just be happy someone is interacting with them. My goal is to have an on air phone call but if all else fails they'll be reading a text from Gary Baldi ( he's Italian)

Whenever I'm doing enquiries at work I often use these made up names instead of TBA for my own amusement.
This backfired a couple of weeks ago when I mistakenly booked Miss Ginger Bush and Miss Amy Able on a Tour Operators system.
Slightly embarrassing repeating the names for clarification but obviously not real names so no charges for cancellation.

Might wheel out young Amy again as not as obvious as some of the other ones doing the rounds.

It is a good one alright, it took my brain an extra second or two to get it. That might be a suitable one for R4, as it's more at the 'highbrow' end of the Toby and Friends game.

I have an idea. Though Aled may want to look away since I know his corporate heart wouldn't like it.

You know how lots of radio stations have shortcode numbers, such as 80011 or 88291, which don't come out of your phone bill and charge you on top of it instead. Could we build a list of alternative numbers if we know of them? Which do use your plan texts?

For Example.

Radio 1 - 07786 201111
Radio Essex (unconfirmed) - 07786 201035

Does anyone know of any more? It will help poor students like me join in the fun.

Say you want a shout out for your friend who's been in a bit of a meltdown, but has pulled herself together now - her name is Annette Kirton.

Or a friend who has helped out with a spot of painting and decorating. His name is Matty Mulsion.

Oh there'll be instructions on the station's website on how to message the studio online or email.

Is that lonely hearts show still on??? The one where the guy reads out sad stories over a cheesy slow song? I'd love to write a story for that.

I work for Bauer, a national radio work. A staff wide memo was sent out today warning us Chris Moyles is "at it again".

A friend who works for Global has received a similar e-mail.

Your best bet for this to work will be smaller independent stations (few and far between these days) or BBC local.
